玉米waxy基因密码子偏好性分析 被引量:33

摘要 运用CHIPS、CUSP和CodonW程序对玉米waxy基因的密码子进行了分析,将分析结果与大肠杆菌、酵母基因组的密码子偏好性进行比较。结果表明,waxy基因对一些密码子的使用存在明显的偏好性,特别偏好于使用以G或C结尾的密码子,且玉米waxy基因与大肠杆菌、酵母的密码子偏爱性有较大差异,分析结果对玉米waxy基因在这两类表达系统中的表达具有一定指导意义。 Coding sequence of waxy gene was analyzed by Codon W, CHIPS(Condon Heterozygosity in a Protein Coding Sequence) and CUSPS(Create a codon usage table) programs for identifying codon bias and selecting host systems for gene expression. The results were compared with Escherichia coli and yeast codonusage. It indicated that codon bias of waxy obviously remarked at some codons'which were the G or C in the 3rd position of codons. Codon bias of waxy was significantly different from those of E.coli and yeast. The analytic result has important guidance for waxy gene to choose which one to express in two express systems.
