谈谈英语商函的写作技巧

摘要 英语商函用于与外商磋商相关交易条件,解决履行合同中的有关问题,以确保买卖双方互惠互利,从而顺利实现交易合作的目的。在国际贸易日益活跃的今天,不论是初入商界或是身经百战的工作人员,在处理国际商务问题、撰写英语商函时能否应付自如至关重要。英语商函的写作应注意突出主题,观点鲜明;面向对方,以"您"为主;实事求是,态度诚恳;语气委婉,表达准确;行文简洁,阐述清楚。 Business English letters are applied for negotiating, related trade terms and solving the problems during the performance of the contract which may ensure the mutual benefits for both buyers and sellers, so that both will achieve a smooth transaction. Today, with the booming of international trade, it is essential for those firstly joined the business or veterans to meet the occasion in dealing with international business issues or writing business letters. Some points should be paid attention to in business English writing , they are as follows: the main themes should be highlighted, the viewpoints should be fresh and clear; the addressees' feelings should be put in the first place with the help of"You Attitude"; the attitude should be practical, realistic and sincere; the tone should be tactful with accurate expression; the writing style should be simple and direct but elaborating known by others.
