GIS is an integration of computer graphics and database management technology. Mapinfo is effective operating platform for the forest resources spatial attribute. In the annual monitoring of forest resources, GIS technology combining with GPS technology might increase the monitor accuracy and the working efficiency, and to eliminate repetitive statistical calculation and reporting, and to provide the solid foundation for our digital forestry.
