摘要
针对现有激光快速成形系统使用气体激光器存在的缺点,研究使用激光二极管(LD)的新型能量源来代替气体激光器。对LD的光束特性和准直扩束技术进行了分析、研究,并对其聚焦后的焦斑功率密度、成形中的扫描速度等参数进行计算与分析。LD新型能量源寿命长、工作可靠,且体积小易于实现装置小型化,有利于提高成形精度和质量,有利于拓宽成形材料范围。
In the paper the new energy source technology is researched that the gas lasers is replaced by the laser diodes (LD) in the laser rapid prototyping (RP) system, because some defects are existed in the existing RP system using gas lasers. The LD beam characteristics, the collimating and expanding technologies are studied. The power density and the scanning velocity of the LD focusing spot are calculated and analysed too. The new RP energy source using LD has some advantages, such as long life, high reliability, small volume, high prototyping precision and quality, and fargoing prototyping material.
