发展是人类社会的永恒主题,是当代中国社会面临的核心问题。坚持以人为本、全面协调可持续发展、促进经济社会和人的全面发展的科学发展观是新时期中国社会发展的必然抉择。科学发展观是与时俱进的马克思主义哲学发展观,是对马克思主义哲学的创新和发展。它运用和发展了唯物辩证法的矛盾的对立统一、两点论和重点论相统一、普遍联系和系统的观点;坚持和发展了历史唯物主义关于社会有机体理论、人的全面发展理论和社会发展理论。

Development is an eternal subject of human society and the core question which contemporary Chinese society faces. The inevitable choice of Chinese social development is the scientific development view which persists in humanism and coordinates the sustainable development, the promotion of economic society and the human＇s full scale development. The scientific development view is that of the Marxist philosophy which keeps pace with the times, bringing forth new ideas and development. It has also utilized and developed the materialistic dialectics including contradiction unification of opposites, the unification of the doctrine that everything has two aspects and the key point, as well as the viewpoint of universal relation and the system . It has persisted in and developed the-historical materialism which is related to the theory of the social organism, human＇s full scale development and the social development; and it has manifested and utilized the Marxist practical philosophy of the relation about knowledge and practice , subject and object.
