我国“公众新闻”的特征及其在公共政策中的作用

公众新闻是建立在"公众"问题上的一个概念。公众新闻的任务是使新闻能不断滋养生机勃勃的民主,不只是作为一种新闻方式,而更是作为一种普通人自由而有尊严的生活方式。从美国发源的公众新闻理论,很快在我国大众传媒土壤上生长起来,这种以公众与民主政治的密切关系为核心的新闻实践在国内许多媒体的尝试下,结合民生新闻的做法,很快成为我国公共领域中重要的部分,对当地政府公共政策的制定和实施都起到重要影响。本文对比分析了公众新闻在我国的外部特征,并为其在公共政策中的作用做出了评价。

Public journalism is a concept based on the ＂public＂ issue. The task of public journalism is facilitating the democracy. Public journalism is not just a way of news, but also a free and respectful t, ife style of normal people. Journalism theories origins from America, which have grown up rapidly in Chinese public media. With many media＇s tries, this news practice focus on the affinity of public and democracy combine with the way of common news, has becoming the important part of Chinese public sphere quickly, and significantly influenced establishment and execution of the public polices in local government. This paper analyzed the characters of Chinese public journalism, and evaluated its effects in the public policy.
