The corrosion problem at those special places of the pipeline is more serious than other parts of the pipeline. The examples and causes of corrosion at the special places of pipeline are analyzed. The proposals are raised for improvement in design and construction of pipeline especially at those special places such as anchorage, casing, overhead piping, elbow and the buried pipeline under high voltage power line.
