On the group discussion at the First Session of the 11^th Chinese People＇s Political Consultative Conference （CPPCC） , Zhang Weiqing, a CPPCC member and the Minister of the National Population and Family Planning Commission emphasized that China has entered a baby boom period and that we should adhere to the basic state policy of family planning in the current period.
