This article offers a review on some latest developments since 1995 in the fields of photographic science and imaging materials published in major imaging technical periodicals of China and overseas. mainly on four Subjects; the mechanism of photosensitivity and sensitization in photographic emulsion; development process and mechanism; research into photographic organic compounds; new advancements and new technologies of imaging materials.
