This paper presents experiences in the develepment of the NSY-2 type wide range particle size analytical instrument. The theory of particle size analysis in extinction by uniformly mixed up settlement has been approached and summed up. Some new results are introduced , such as determination and the method of concentration grouping , which are new technical results in particle size analysis. The paper also involves the application of computers in date collecting and processing in particle size analysis.
