Ｇ．７８３是描述ＳＤＨ设备特性的重要建议，自１９９０年第一版发布以来，几经修改，从原来的功能块描述法演变到最新版的原子结构描述法。本文重点介绍原子结构描述的基本规则；原子结构描述与功能块描述的主要区别。

Recommendation G.783 gives a description of the SDH equipment characteristics, it is very important. Since 1990,the first version of this Recommendation is published, it was revised many times. Its description method is changed from the original Function Block to present Atomic Structure . In this paper, the introduction is focused to the basic rules of the Atomic Structure description, and the main differences between Atomic Structure description and Function Block description .
