On the application of PLC in ship's engine room monitoring system

工业可编程序控制器（以下简称PLC机）是以微处理器为核心的新型工业控制装置，工程上称其为“工业计算机”。当前在国内外广泛应用于机械制造、冶金、石油化工、轻纺、矿山、包装、船舶自动化等各个方面。本文以我厂在船用监视系统中应用工业可编程序控制器为例，探讨一下船舶机舱监视系统中应用PLC机的可行性。

The industrial programmable language controller (PLC) is a new type of industrial controlling device based on microprocessor, and so is called the 'Industrial computer'. It is now widely used in machine manufacturing, rnetallurgy, petro-chernistry, textile industry, light product industry, mining, packing, ship automation and many other areas. The paper summerized the example of using PLC in shipbuilding for ship's monitoring system and studied the feasibility of this application in the future.
