摘要
合成了一种低熔点的芳香酯型液晶环氧树脂双4-环氧丙氧基乙氧基邻甲基对苯二酚酯(MPEPEB),并用IR、EA、1HNMR、DSC和POM对其结构和性能进行了表征,结果表明MPEPEB在78.7~133.9℃之间为向列型液晶,并在降至-50℃后仍能保持液晶态。DSC研究表明,MPEPEB与芳香胺类固化剂4,4′-二氨基二苯甲烷(DDM)在升温固化过程中出现了两个放热峰,等温固化过程中该体系的活化能与固化温度有关,表明液晶相的存在对固化反应有重要影响。
A liquid crystalline epoxy resin p-methylphenylene di {4-[ (2,3-epoxypropoxy) ethoxy] benzoate } (MPEPEB), which had a low melting point, was synthesized, and the structure and phase behavior of the synthesized product were characterized by means of IR, EA, ^1H-NMR, DSC and hot stage POM. The results showed MPEPEB showed a nematic mesophase between 78.7 ℃ and 133.9 ℃, and the mesophase maintained till -50 ℃ in cooling. The curing of MPEPEB/DDM was investigated. There were two exothermic peaks in dynamic DSC curve and two Ea in the isothermal curing which may be correlated with the appearance of mesophase.
