试论中国传统服饰的抑女性

On the Prejudice against Women Revealed in Traditional Chinese Clothing

中国传统社会是一个讲究等级秩序尊卑贵贱的礼制社会,在这样的社会背景下,人们普遍重男轻女。女性服饰作为一种形象化的思想,也折射出男尊女卑的社会观念。传统女性着装不能随心所欲,必须符合隶属于男性的身份地位,同时严禁服饰通过女性体貌的外显可能对男性产生的挑逗,并且妇女服饰必须符合男性社会的审美标准。传统社会通过上述种种法则和潜意识规范,束缚着女性。传统服饰充分体现出传统社会的抑女性。

Traditionally China was rigidly stratified. Under such a social structure, women＇s traditional clothing, as a symbol of peoples concepts, had revealed a general acknowledgement that men were superior to women. Women＇s clothing had to be formal and to present their social status pertaining to men. And women were strictly forbidden to wear any clothing that might allure men. Men aesthetic standard is not only a fetter to women but also a prejudice against women.
