The Contribution and Status of Zhang Shen-fu in the Chinese-Western Comunication History

在20世纪的中西交流史上,张申府具有十分特殊的地位。张申府研究和引进罗素的哲学思想,研究和介绍马克思主义的唯物辩证法思想,提出"辩证综合"论,并且主张马克思、罗素和孔子三者思想相结合。张申府对罗素数理逻辑的译述,曾经影响了一代学人。张申府的学术思想无疑对于我们今天的文化研究仍然具有重要的借鉴价值。

Mr Zhang Shen-fu（1893-1986） had special contribution and status in the history of Chinese-Western comunication. Studying and introducing Russell＇s philosophy and the thought of Materialist Dialectics to China, he stated his theory of dialectical synthetic and the combination of Marxism, Rusell＇s philosophy and Confucianism. However, Mr. Zhang＇s translation and study on Rusell＇s the Mathematical Logic had huge impact on all reseachers in that period. Today, Mr. Zhang＇s academic thought still has very important reference function for our cultural research.
