Translation of children's literature is aimed at children at first. The translator faces the challenge of transferring children's books in one culture to child readers in another culture as well as maintaining its interests valued by children. As a literary form, children's literature inevitably includes cultural factors. In dealing with those cultural factors, the translator should choose foreignization as the primary translation strategy so that child readers will have the opportunity to understand and undergo the experience of exotic culture and the environment. However, in language uses, the standard Chinese language should be used to avoid too many European languages and sentences which are not coherent and fluent. Some specific approaches can be found in real translation.
