摘要
2007年6月28日,新一届英国政府对中央教育行政机构——教育与技能部做出了重大调整和人员变动。将教育与技能部分为儿童、学校与家庭部和创新、大学与技能部。这一变化将对英国未来的教育发展产生重大影响。了解新成立的两个教育部门的职能和责任,可以使我们把握英国中央教育行政机构改革的背景和意义,并对今后一段时期英国教育的发展做出判断。
In 28 June, 2007, the new British government made major organisational and personnel changes in central administration of education： the Department of Education and Skills was divided into two parts, the Department of Children, Schools and Families, and the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills. This change will have a significant impact on the UK＇s future educational development. In order to understand the functions and responsibilities of these two newly established educational administration, this paper discusses the background and meaning of this reform in the central administration of education, and future trends of development in British education.
