Abstract The experimental setup combined the Dilor XY spectrograph with the Conherent femtosecond dye laser system in our laboratory. The grating couple and the narrow slit used to cut the wide tails of probe pulse spectrum for measuring the low frequency LO phonon and the electronic Raman. The polarization of pump and probe laser are orthogonal and polaroid used to select the scatting light stimulated by probe pulse only. The pump pulse was delayed by the optical delay line drove by a computer control setp motor, it is easy to know the procise position so that we can calculate the delay time of the pump pulse before probe pulse.
