略论当代中国通史研究与撰述之趋势

On the Trend of Contemporary Chinese General History Research and Compilation

20世纪八九十年代以来,中国通史研究与编纂呈现出两种发展趋势:一是进一步发展和完善马克思主义中国通史体系,一是放弃这种体系,或重构中国通史新体系,或编纂中国通史新著。但究其目标,都是旨在探索具有民族特色的中国历史体系。

There have been two trends in Chinese general history research and compilation since 1980s and 1990s. On one hand, some scholars have made great efforts to improve the system of Marxist Chinese general history. On the other hand, some scholars hanve given up this system to reconstruct a new system of Chinese general history or compile new books of Chinese general history. Both the trends show that historians are looking forward to forming a system of Chinese general history with national characteristics.
