New Development in the Labor Theory of Value:Some Thoughts Based on the Modern Production

随着现代生产形式和内容的不断发展,劳动价值论也需要随之进行扩展与创新。生产劳动是一个系统过程,这一点在现代生产中表现得尤为突出。传统的劳动价值论对于现代生产中的许多劳动形式及其价值创造缺乏充分的解释力。从系统的角度来看,现代生产中各种形式的劳动都是系统劳动,依据其在社会生产中的作用和功能,可以区分为系统物质生产劳动、系统支持劳动、系统管理劳动与系统优化劳动。它们构成了现代生产系统,共同创造了财富,也共同创造了价值。

With the constant development of modem production both in forms and in contents, the Labor Theory of Value needs to be broadened and developed accordingly. Productive labor is a systematic process which is very important in modem production. The traditional Labor Theory of Value fails to provide a persuasive explanation for different kinds of labor and their value-creating processes. From the perspective of system, all kinds of labor in the modem production should be systematic labor. According to their different functions in the social production system, they can be divided into system material -producing labor, system management labor, system supporting labor and system refinement labor, which constitute the modem production system, they not only help to accumulate wealthy, but also create value together.
