云南壮剧的表演艺术有着鲜明的特色:表演风格多元一体,既有地方大剧种风格,又有民间小戏特色,还有浓郁的乡土生活色彩;代表人物的上下场动作讲究文臣要推髯,武将要跳台;道具使用上讲究文不离扇,武不离刀;表演形式中还有进三步、退三步等特点。

The Zhuang＇s drama of Yunnan has distinctive features. It includes the integrative pattern of the multiperforming style, containing the characteristics of the local big types, folk small dramas and strong country life ; roles as officials and generals can be distinguished from their different acts while entering or leaving the stage, and from different stage props; it is also marked by the performing forms such as taking three steps forward and backward.
