本文通过对地理学发展历史过程的简要回顾,从现代科学技术发展的总态势等方面分析了地理学演变为地理科学的历史必然性;还对地理科学体系的框架作了初步构想,指出它是一个多维的、复杂的网络结构;最后,对发展地理科学问题提出了几点建议。

This article, through the brief review of the historically developing course of geography, analyses the historical inevitability developing from geography to the geographic science from the view of the general developing tendency of mordern science and technology. The article also makes a preliminary conception of the frame of the system of the geographic science. It is pointed out that it is a poly-dimensional, Complicated network structure. In the end, some suggestions are made about the development of the geographic science.
