Comparative Study of the Development Models of Small-sized Cities and Towns

对小城镇发展模式的研究,不仅要以城镇发展动力这一标准来对小城镇发展进行分类,更要从政府与市场关系的角度出发,将小城镇发展模式划分为政府主导型城镇发展模式与市场主导型城镇发展模式两大类,分别研究政府在两种不同模式中的作用机理,并深入分析两种小城镇发展模式的优缺点与发展趋势。

To study the development model of small-sized cities and towns, we need to classify it on the basis of the impetus behind cities and towns. From the perspective of the relationship between government and market, we also need to classify it into government dominant model and market dominant one. In addition, we need to study the action mechanism of government respectively in these two different models and make an indepth analysis of the merits and demerits and the development tendency of these two models.
