随着科学技术、信息化的发展，传统的管理方法已经不能适应上级管理部门，客户以及生产对粮食仓储管理提出的要求。比如传统的管理方式使粮库的出入库数据无法做到惟一性和实时性，不能满足公司和库主的要求；公司和粮库分在两地，尤其是大型企业的业务主管部门、仓储部门、存储点、销售点的分散布局，使公司无法及时掌握粮食的流转动态；粮库为满足各方的需求与避免数据错误，
In recent years, how to change the current situation, such as repeat-statistics of many authoritative organizations, repeat-work, unsuitable numbers, drawbacks of feedback information, and how to satisfy demands raised by the grain logistics information system for transportation, storage, package, logistics, process, deliverance, etc, has become priority problem. When we start to analyze these causes, we could fi nd a common and important cause: we could not share some useful information at every section. In order to realize information resourcecommon-sharing in the grain logistics information system, RFID seems to be the best solution.
