当前,两岸有望在"九二共识"基础上进入和平发展的新时期,两岸经济关系发展面临难得的历史机遇。由于发展两岸经济关系的政治环境出现重大积极变化,在两岸民意的推动下,大陆因素在台湾经济振兴规划中占据了前所未有的重要地位,两岸经济关系的发展将直接影响台湾经济的未来,两岸将在更广阔的空间内展开全面合作。随着两岸经济关系进入全面开放交流的新时期,两岸经济关系在以下三个方面有进一步密切发展的趋势。一是两岸大企业合作谋求全球产业制高点,二是两岸将加强科技合作提升两岸产业创新能力,三是推动两岸金融合作为两岸经济合作引入活水。在全面加强两岸经济实务合作的基础上,建立两岸经济合作机制将成为未来两岸经济关系发展主轴,在"胡连会"和"胡宋会"中提出的建立两岸共同市场和两岸自由贸易区构想,将逐步得到推进落实。两岸要以两岸资本运作和整合两岸优势资源为基础,以两岸产业合作、科技合作、金融合作为支柱,以共同打造两岸国际竞争力,促进两岸经济整合为目标,推进整个两岸经济全面合作体系的构建。

Presently, both banks are hopeful to enter into the new time of peaceful development in the foundation of ＂92 mutual recognitions＂, and the economic relationships development of both banks are facing with the rare historical spells of good or bad fortune. Because there is some tremendous positive changes in developing political context if both banks＇ economic relationships, under the impetus of both banks＇ public opinion, the mainland factor will occupy the unprecedented important position in Taiwan vigorous economic growth plan. The development of both banks＇ economic relationships will directly influent the future of Taiwan＇s economy, so that both banks will cooperate comprehensively in a broader space. Entering the new time of the comprehensive opening exchange is along with the both banks＇ economic relationships. The both banks＇ economic relationships have further close development tendency in the following three aspects： First, both banks＇ big enterprise cooperation seeks the global industry commanding point; second, both banks will strengthen the scientific and technological cooperation to promote both banks＇ industry innovation ability; third, promote both banks＇ financial cooperation for injecting running water into both banks＇ economic cooperation. In the foundation of strengthening both banks＇ economical practice cooperation comprehensively, to establish both banks＇ economic cooperation mechanism will become the main axle of the development of both banks＇ economic relationships in the future, and the establishment of both banks common market and both banks＇ free-trade zone proposed in ＂Hu Lian meeting＂ and ＂Hu Song meeting＂, will be carried out gradually. Both banks must take both banks＇ capital operation and the conformity of both banks＇ superiority resources as the foundations, take the industry cooperation, the scientific and technological cooperation, the financial cooperation of both banks as the prop, build the international competitiveness of both banks together, set the goal of propelling the economical conformity of both banks, and promote the entire comprehensive cooperation system construction of both banks＇ economy.
