Two Major Factors Affecting Vocational Education Development in China

影响我国职业教育发展的因素很多,但主要有两大关键和难题:其一,人才规格模糊影响职业学校人才培养和用人单位选用人才,进而影响职业学校的发展和毕业生就业;其二,教育制度配置影响人们对职业教育的选择,决定职业教育的发展。

There are two major factors affecting China＇s vocational education development. Firstly, the fuzzy standard for personnel training in vocational schools poses great impacts on the design of school training courses and selection of graduates by employees, which greatly affecting vocational school＇s development and graduates＇ employment. Secondly, unreasonable education systems impose negative impacts on student＇ s willingness to enroll in a vocational school, placing vocational schools on weak position in student and financial sources. This paper analyzes the problems facing China＇ s vocational education development and induced causes, and draws up strategies for healthy development of vocational education in China.
