A Problematic Study on the Intentional Ethics in the Researches of Romanticism in Modern Chinese Literature: Re-discussions with Mr.YU Zhao-ping

浪漫主义是一种基本的艺术精神。中国现代浪漫主义的研究,必须立足于对这种文学精神的还原,以启示当今的文学创造。主观的概念抽象与泛化,简单的逻辑切割与扭曲的历史言说,随意添加其所谓现代性内涵,这种学术意图伦理不可能带领人们走进浪漫主义文学的本原世界。

Romanticism is a kind of art spirit. The research on romanticism in modern Chinese literature should focus on the spirit itself, and then contribute to provide inspiration to the creative writing in contempo- rary China. However, in the past, the researches in this area always conceptualizes and universalizes the term ＂romanticism＂, gives it a distorted explanation, and endow it with connotations from the modernity. It is obvious that such a research method, which is fraught with intentional ethic, will not be able to show us the real world of the romanticism literature in modern Chinese literature.
