As a neurophysiological monitoring technique, motor-evoked potentials (MEPs) has been widely used for intraoperatively monitoring motor function of spinal cord. Myogenic MEPs elicited by transeranial electrical stimulation are commonly used to monitor spinal function. However, myogenic MEPs may be interfered by most anesthetic agents and hypothermia. Muhipulse electric stimulation is the recommended tool for intraoperative monitoring of spinal motor function.
