在甲苯中,以N,N-二甲基苯胺为催化剂,用环氧化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBS)与端顺丁烯二酸基聚乙二醇甲醚合成了带聚氧乙烯支链的SBS。粗产物经纯化后用傅里叶变换红外光谱和氢核磁共振仪进行了表征。研究了开环反应的条件,结果表明在适宜条件下产物开环率可达46.5%。接枝共聚物呈现良好的乳化性能、相转移催化性能和一定的吸水性和耐油性;其作为增容剂能增强SBS与氯醇橡胶的相容性,并用扫描电镜给予了佐证。
Amphiphilic styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS) grafted with polyoxyethylene was successfully prepared by ring opening reaction of epoxidized SBS with maleic acid group-terminated methoxypolyethylene glycol in toluene, using N,N- dimethyl aniline as catalyst. The purified copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy and hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance. The ring opening reaction conditions were studied. The results showed that the epoxy conversion could reach 46.5%. The graft copolymer could exhibit good emulsifying property, good phase transfer catalytic property, moderate water absorbency and oil resistance. The graft copolymer could be used as a compatibilizer in the blending of SBS and chlorohydrin rubber. Scanning electron microscope confirmed the improved compatibility of the two phases.
