基于内容的视觉信息检索系统比较研究

Comparative Research on Contented-Based Visual Information Retrieval Systems

摘要 通过分析传统视觉信息检索技术的局限,阐述了基于内容检索的迫切性和必要性;在比较C-BIRD、MARS、VideoQ等4个典型检索系统的基础上,从数据模型、索引方式、主要功能等方面对其进行归纳总结,指出了主要存在的问题并提出解决方案。 Through analyzing the limitation of traditional visual information retrieval technology, this paper describes the imminence and importance of contented - based retrieval. Based on the comparison among C -BIRD, MARS, VideoQ etc. four contented -based retrieval systems, makes a summary from the aspects of data model, index method and main function, then points out the existing problems and its relevant solutions.
