音乐美学是研究音乐艺术普遍规律的学科。它是从美学与艺术哲学的高度,对音乐艺术进行总体的基本规律的研究。因此,它不仅仅是一门系统的音乐学,而且是整个音乐学中基础的理论学科。在音乐形式中,力度、速度、节奏、音色等基本要素,音色则是要素中最为重要的成分。

Musical aesthetics is a subject which studies the universal rules of musical art. It studies the whole fundamental rules of musical art from a height of aesthetic and artistic philosophy. Therefore, musical aesthetics is not only a systematic science, but also a basic theory in whole musicology. Among the basic elements in different musical forms like intensity, speed, rhythm, timbre and so on, timbre is the most important ingredient in all kinds of elements.
