作为在中国当代文坛上具有重要影响力之一的著名小说家,方方以其独到的美学意义发现、当代人性思想的发掘、极富新意的表现能力使中国的新世纪小说创作展示出别样的魅力。她的中篇小说《奔跑的火光》便是如此。小说不仅向我们展现了一个现代女性的悲剧命运,更揭示了在社会转型时期男女角色并未随新制度的建立而发生变化,本文通过对传统文化中的女性欲望叙述的分析来探讨女性悲剧的生成及其根源。

As one of the most influential contemporary female writers, Fang Fang has shown us her outstanding talents in expressing esthetic meanings of things and her own thoughts on humanity of people. Her novel Running Flames, did not only expose a female tragedy, but also revealed that the bisexual role didnt change by the new institution established during the transitional period. This paper has probed into the formation and the roots of remale tragedy by explaining the female＇s desire narration in the traditional culture.
