面对发展中突出的人的问题,新的中央领导集体提出"以人为本"为核心的科学发展观,它是对马克思人的本质思想的继承、丰富和发展,是对"以物为本"的校正,必将获得广泛的社会认同。
The Scientific Outlook on Development, which puts people first as its core, has been formulated by the newly elected central collective leadership of CPC to meet the needs of reinvigorating China through human resource development for the socialist modernization. Such an outlook is built on the theory of human nature by Marx and has been widely accepted by Party members and common people, for it is a correction of the traditional practice of neglecting the significance of human beings.
