On Sustainability of the Reader Club

读者组织的可持续性是困扰图书馆做好读者工作的一大难题。忠诚读者群的壮大、读者组织文化的确立、交互平台和交互网络的构建以及读者需求心理的把握是实现可持续发展的基本条件。但读者组织在可持续发展中存在资源配置不当、缺乏创新、宣传不力和疏于管理等问题。只有努力创新读者组织的运作模式,拓展读者组织之间的互动平台,合理调整图书馆资源配置,才能确保读者组织的可持续性。

Keeping the sustainability of the reader club is an important problem that the library confront. The basic factors for the sustainability of the reader club are expanding the group of readers,establishing club culture, constructing exchange platform and network, and understanding readers＇ psychological demand. But there still are some problems, such as low resources allocation, lack of innovation, lack of propaganda and management. The reader club could ensure its sustainability through initiating the functional mode of the reader club, extending interactive platform among the reader clubs, and optimizing resources allocation.
