试析严复非正法翻译策略

An Approach of Yan Fu′s View of Translation from the Perspective of Non-Standard Translating Strategy

为使他的译著能起到"启发民智、救亡图存"的目的,严复在翻译时采用了一些非正法翻译策略。就其译本对中国近代社会产生的重大影响来看,这些非正法翻译在一定程度上改变了中国文化的构成成分,有着积极的社会文化意义。

Some non-standard translations are found in Yan Fu′s translating works,which is actually to help fulfill his purpose of ＂Saving the endangered country and enlightening its people＂ and to some extent changes the component of Chinese culture.As far as the great social impact of Yan Fu′s translatings on late China is concerned,these non-standard translation strategies have a positive social cultural significance.
