都市区、都市圈和都市带的概念界定与比较分析

Discussion on the definition and comparative studies between metropolitanarea,metropolitan coordinative region and megalopolis

鉴于当前学术界关于大城市地域空间组织若干概念的分歧,针对都市区、都市圈和都市带的概念进行了界定,认为它们分别处于城市化的不同发展阶段,是大城市地域空间组织从简单到复杂、从低级到高级演变的结果。并进一步对都市区、都市圈和都市带在人口规模、空间尺度、社会经济、空间结构等方面的特征进行了比较分析。

In allusion to the confusion by some concepts of spatial organization, this paper discusses the concepts of metropolitan area, metropolitan coordinating region and megalopolis. It is stated that they refers to three different stages of urbanization and result from the development of spatial organization of big cities from simplicity to complexity, from lower level to high- er level. Then, it compares population, spatial scope, social and economical characteristics, spatial structure and other characteristics of them.
