A Brief Discussion on Chen Kuilong——the Last General Governor of Zhili Province

目前对于晚清遗老的研究还不为学界所关注,特别是对于晚清遗老陈夔龙的研究更是稀少。利用现有的史料,对于晚清著名遗老陈夔龙,从其生平、得意的宦海生涯以及其思想作一分析,力求还原一个真实的陈夔龙。

The study on the old adherents to the collapsed Qing Dynasty is limited, and especially the research on Chen Kuilong is scarce. This paper uses the existing source books to restore a true Chen Kuilong by analysing his life, proud political career and his mind.
