Discussion on the Cause of Insulation Part Failure at the Top of SS4 Upgrade-type Electric Locomotive

本文根据朔黄铁路SS4改型电力机车实际运用情况，对车顶绝缘子故障原因进行全面综合分析，最后提出防治措施，以达到最大程度减少车顶绝缘子故障的目的。

According to the application of SS4 upgrade-type electric locomotive in Shuohuang Railway, the cause of insulation part failure at the top of locomotive was analyzed. And the countermeasure was presented in order to reduce the insulation part failure.
