My Opinion on Archives Destruction

本文分析了"档案可以销毁"命题产生和使用的原因及其实质,指出"档案可以销毁"命题引发的自相矛盾之处,认为可以用"无保存价值的文件可以销毁"命题来代替我们沿用至今的"档案可以销毁"命题,对于"无保存价值的文件"销毁要慎重,"无保存价值但有某种参考作用的文件"不应销毁,应称之为"档案作废"。

This essay analyzed the reason and essence of generation and usage of proposition - ＂archives can be destroyed＂, pointed where self-contradiction is. And we can use the proposition- ＂records which have no preservation value can be destroyed＂ replace the proposition ＂archives can be destroyed＂. The destruction of ＂records which have no preservation value＂ should be carefulness, ＂records which have reference value rather than preservation value＂ should not be destroyed, but should be called ＂archives cancellation＂.
