非平衡气氛的碳势定义为:当渗碳反应在钢表面净产生的碳为零时碳钢表面的含碳量。非平衡气氛的碳势表达式为:(λⅠ+λⅡ+λⅢ)(CgⅠ)λⅠ·(CgⅡ)λⅡ·(CgⅢ)λⅢ。当钢的表面含碳量等于气氛碳势时,渗碳反应在钢表面净产生的碳为零,由渗碳反应引起的熵产生率最小,由钢和非平衡渗碳气氛所组成系统的相应状态是稳定的。
The non equilibrium carbon potential is defined as the carbon content of steel when the net carbon production rate at surface of steel vanishes. The carbon potential of the non equilibrium atmosphere can be expressed as (λ Ⅰ+λ Ⅱ+λ Ⅲ)(C g Ⅰ ) λ Ⅰ ·(C g Ⅱ ) λ Ⅱ ·(C g Ⅲ ) λ Ⅲ . When carbon content of steel equals to carbon potential of atmosphere, the net carbon production rate at surface of steel vanishes and the entropy production rate due to carburising reactions reaches minimum. The corresponding state of system consisted of steel and non equilirium atmosphere is stable.
