How to Strengthen Functions of Provincial-Level Degree Committee

《中国教育改革和发展纲要》中明确提出了我国高等教育实行中央、省级政府两级管理,以省级政府为主的管理体制,但在我国学位与研究生教育发展过程中,省级地方学位委员会的作用并没有得到充分发挥。回顾省级学位委员会职能划分的历史与现状,分析了存在的主要问题,就强化省级学位委员会职能提出了参考意见。

It has been pointed out in Essentials of Chinese Education Reformation and Development that the administrative system of higher education is mainly managed by central government and provincial government, but in the process of the development of degree and graduate student education, the provincial-level degree committee has not given full play. Recalling the history and the present situation of provincial-level degree committee,this paper analyzed the main problems and put forward some suggestions on how to strengthen the functions of provincial level degree committee.
