摘要
2003年11月,在南京市南郊的姚家山发掘了三座东晋晚期砖室墓。这些墓葬排列整齐,墓向基本一致,形制大体相同,应属同一家族墓地。墓葬皆为带长甬道的凸字形单室墓,规模较大,残存各类随葬品40余件,墓主应属当时的世家大族。其中 M3墓壁砌有精美的画像砖,墓内还发现两方铭文砖,具有较高的学术价值。
In November 2003, the Nanjing Municipal Museum and other institutions excavated three brick-chambered tombs of the late Eastern Jin period at Yaojiashan in the southern suburbs of Nanjing City. Arranged in good order, roughly identical in direction and very similar in shape, these graves must have belonged to the same kin. They are ＂凸＂ -shaped single-chambered large graves each with a wooden gate in the long passage, a brick coffin-platform in the rear part of the chamber and straight-barred false windows and ＂凸＂ -shaped lamp niches on the side and back walls. Over 40 funeral objects remain in the burials. The tomb-owner must have been a member of an aristocratic family. Tomb M3 is especially valuable to academic studies for its excellent pictorial bricks and two brick epitaphs.
