The possibility of the substituion of Co as binder in the cemented carbide With Ni has been investigated, The propertiesof the cemented carbide can be improved with addition of a certain amount of metallic additives into Ni. Both the mechanicalproperties and the performance in use of the WC-Ni cemented carbide prepared by this method can be comparable with WC-Co cemenied carbide.
