数学是一切自然科学的基础，对医学生来讲也是重要的学习内容。面对医学院数学教学所面临的问题和数学在医学中的广泛应用，本文从素质教育的角度对数学教育工作者提出了更新的要求。

Mathematics is the basis for all natural sciences, and it is also an important content of learning for medical students. In view of problems of mathematics teaching at medical colleges and wide application of mathematics in medical science, the article raises new requirements for mathematics educators from the perspective of quality-oriented education.
