Through reading between the＇lines of Mao Zedong＇s autobiographic documents, we have found that he felt greatly constrained in his life experience. The policies made by him when he was in power, as a unique psychological projection of his life experience, embody his idea of supporting the weak but restraining the powerful when governing a country. Mao Zedong＇s idea of ruling a country by supporting the weak and checking the power and his actual political practice have left a meaningful legacy for his successors to reflect on when making policies.
