摘要
科学解释是科学哲学研究的重要问题之一。针对传统的科学解释模型,赫西、卡特赖特和哈瑞等哲学家提出的模型论是研究科学解释的一个新进路。这个学派认为,关于科学解释,不是用什么规律来推出现象,而从根本上说必须构造出一个模型,即用隐喻或类比方法建立迄今未知事物的模型来理解和解释世界。
Scientific explanation is one of the important problems to study of philosophy of science. A Model-based theory that is presented by several philosophers such as Mary B. Hesse, Nancy Cartwright and Rom HarrY, etc. according to the traditional scientific explanation is a new approach to research into scientific explanation. To explain a phenomenon, they think, is not deducted it by some laws but essentially need to build a model to explain it. Namely, we build a model for unknown something by means of metaphor or analog methods to understand and explain the world.
