党的十五大以来检察改革的回顾与展望

Retrospection and Expectation of the Procuratorial Reform since the 15th National Congress of the CPC

恢复重建以来,中国特色社会主义检察制度始终在推进改革中不断发展完善。特别是党的十五大以来,检察改革成为检察工作主旋律,成效明显,经验丰富。深化检察改革,应当以强化法律监督职能、提高法律监督能力和加强对自身执法活动的监督制约为重点,优化检察机关的职权配置,完善检察机关的机构设置、管理制度和保障体制,健全人民群众监督检察工作的长效机制,进一步规范执法行为,提升法律监督的能力和水平。

The procuratorial system with Chinese characteristics has continuously developed and been perfected all along with advancing the reform since the reestablishment, especially after the 15th National Congress of the CPC, procuratorial reform has been the main theme of the procuratorial work of which the effect and experiences have been acquired. The procuratorial reform shall be deepened considering the enhancement of the function and competence of legal supervision and the self - restriction on law enforcement as the emphases by optimizing the power distribution of the procuratorial organ, ameliorating the organizational, administrative and supporting system of the procuratorial organ, completing the long term mechanism of the people＇s supervision of the procuratorial work, further regulating the law enforcement activities, and advancing the capability of legal supervision.
