The MT6318 is a new GSM/GPRS mobile phone power management IC for the MTK mobile phone platform. It is a product belonging to the MediaTek in Taiwan and is an upgrade version of the former power management. The principle of the boost DC/DC converter is introduced combining with the backlight control in the real mobile phone. The peripheral circuit is designed and its validity is verified in the real circuit.
