Characteristics of No.3 bloom continuous caster and testing productions in No.1 Steelmaking Plant of WISCO

介绍由西门子-奥钢联技术总负责的武钢第一炼钢厂3号大方坯连铸机的主要技术特点,如结晶器液位自动控制LevCon和DynaFlex振动技术、铸坯导向系统、Dynacs二次冷却技术、DynaGap动态轻压下技术、全自动开浇技术、VAI-Q方坯质量控制系统等,并简要介绍投产2个月以来新技术的应用情况和生产情况。

The paper discusses the main technological characteristics of No. 3 bloom continuous caster in No. 1 Steelmaking Plant of WISCO, which is technologic designed by Siemens-VAI. Some new continuous casting technologies, such as automatic mold-level control-LevCon, mold oscillation-DynaFlex, bloom ori4ntation system; secondary cooling-Dynacs, dynamic soft reduction-DynaGap, automatic start casting, VAI-Q quality control system, etc are applied to the No. 3 bloom continuous caster. The actual conditions of productions and application of the new technologies for nearly two months since the caster being put into commissioning are also discussed.
