The main content of transmission network in'Planning of Pipeline Telecommunication Network in Petrochina'was introduced in this article. The development objective of pipeline telecommunication network in 2008 to 2010 was put forward by analyzing the problems of current transmission system. On the basis of making full use of existing network,the network infrastructure was optimized by using the thought of delamination. The security and reliability of the telecommunication network were improved greatly by introducing advanced technology.
